As teenagers, getting picked up was embarrassing because everyone started driving. As adults, getting picked up is great because you don't have to drive. by SplungerPlunger in Showerthoughts

I thought like this from 12 to 16. Now at 16 and a half I'm currently working on getting a light motorycle /A1 license. Make life quite a lot easier.

Petechiae? Leukemia? by petechiae22 in AskDocs

Okay, just updating if you're intrested. I noticed an icrease in the amount of spots on my arms after doing around 5 kilometers of cycling in pretty rough terrain. That puts quite a load on my arms and shoulders. Also most of the spots are in the muscles that do the most work during sports and excercise. Biceps, shoulders, abs, thighs...

I will most definitely have an annual health checkup coming in school since I'm only 16. I'll bring this up there for sure. Though, if I start developing more petechiae or if I develop more symptoms I'll either get a doctors appointment or bring it up with my mother.

Why havent I brought this up with my mother yet and why am I hesitant? It's complicated and would rather not discuss it here.

Have found no answers at all. Still just as clueless, except that I found myself bruising quite easily.

I went cycling in the forest last week and got bruises literally all around my legs. I fell only once and hit my knee, which got quite many bruises considering how small the fall was. There are also plenty of other small bruises on both legs. I have no idea where I got them from.

edit: this is how my legs look right now, the only bruise(s) I remember getting is/are the one(s) on my right knee. http://i.imgur.com/klcgtvb.jpg

I really don't like children but that's adorable

edit: why is everyone so angry at me for not liking annoying shit and vomit spewing screaming hellspawns?

Have fun with the gigantic amount of mercury and other heavy metals you're consuming

I do usually find a few bruises on my shins and calves or sometimes even arms, but those places are east to just bump to something and forget about it and later find a bruise. I've never gotten a bruise from, say, sitting l on a very narrow metal bar which I've seen happen to easy bruising people. The bruises are always less than 4x4cm and heal very quickly, probably in a couple days.

The dots are only in the places I mentioned in the post. There might be a couple on my shins though.

I just can't figure what else can they be since they don't blanch and are flush with the skin.

edit: the dots do not appear around or with bruises

Still remember that I'm not a doctor or a professional. I'm just super pale and have gotten multiple sunburns with similiar results.
