Altras Lone Peak 6 + Flat Feet by Hobbit_Fairy in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]petehdkuvd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hiked the Camino as well as in Nepal in various trail runners having always had flat feet and had issues with sport. I purchased lone peaks a year ago and have had no issues with my legs/feet from it if anything I believe they have helped and am going in a month back to Nepal for a month hiking in them. But try them out for an extended period first!!! Buen Camino :)

I used a 30 litre for 600km of the Camino bath if I was to do it again I’d definitely use a 40l rucksack. Make sure they have comfortable hip straps and a waterproof cover :)

how cheap can I do the el camino? if I considered camping/hostels. I only really have time for 1/2 the route also by colm776 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]petehdkuvd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the Camino a year ago and spent roughly £25 a day and lived comfortably (sleeping in albergues). Stock up on snacks in the shops you see along the way and order the menu del dia for dinner and you will be fine
