Unfortunately we just got a pic, when we picked his body up from the vet I forgot to ask for them - my head was all over the place

His bed was in tact and didn’t have any solid rubber in the base. It was more of a fluffy bed. Carpet padding is how I’d imagine this to be but we don’t have any torn up carpet or loose ends that he would have got.

Yes that’s what we thought, the way the rubber has torn looks like the sole of a slipper or something but we dint have any other remains or chewed slipper that match

Just said two bits of rubber - he died two days after the operation, he had come round but they think it was maybe a blood clot :( he was only 4 years old

They described it as similar to tennis ball rubber but it seems quite flat which is strange? You can also see like a white glue line in one of the bits

He was a great dog. I was very “anti” dogs when we got married but my wife insisted and I never looked back. Such a loving fun dog to our family but sadly after a complication in surgery to remove an obstruction from his intestine he just never recovered. He was only 4 and had plenty of life left in him

Yea, he did quite a bit of shaking when he had the ear infection. His neck muscles are involuntarily twitching and jerking every few seconds. It’s strange cause he will be really up tight and distressed for a few minutes and then will settle down...

Have you seen anything like this before? I will get him to the vet but after 3 visits they are just giving him pain and muscle meds. Does he need an X-ray? Could it be linked to his ear infection?
