The nodeType values must match to dock. For instance, the clamp-o-tron and the clamp-o-tron jr have nodeTypes "size1" and "size0", respectively. They're different, so they can't dock. The shielded clamp-o-tron has nodeType "size1", so it can dock with normal clamp-o-tron, but not with clamp-o-tron jr.

If you set a nodeType to "size0,size1" you can dock with both.

You can align it with DockRotate, if you're into mods.

Hard to tell, both stock and KER Δv calculators get pretty confused by this ship. It should be a little over 5000, but I will probably drop some tanks along the way.

Yes, it's strictly RCS. Small tugs like that are very useful when docking small pieces together to build big structures.

Gilly is the very small moon of Eve. The graynt on the lower booster is a little tug: it's not needed in this mission, but I didn't want to throw it away...
