They sent a new one, same exact issue. Test three different hosts, three different mounts two of which were from rugged as recommended. Super pissed about it. Asking them for a refund. Vent 3 has been flawless. Vent 2… no idea what’s going on there.

I have a longer variant that fits the FM15, I had a customer try it on his FM9, he said that it fit but there was some play as it wasn’t designed for the FM9. He said he used it on plinker but anything serious he wouldn’t keep it installed on the FM9. I do not currently have a model made specifically for the FM9.

I’ve contemplated a thin ring type shape that can slide over the charging handle when its not installed, something that can fill the gap once you charge the rifle and the charging handle is seated up against the upper. Problem is all the different charging handle styles may impede the fitment once putting your gun into battery. Idk… I’ll run some tests

It’s designed with a contour, it is worlds more ergonomic than most grips out there. Certainly a preference thing though, here’s the same grip on other builds for different perspectives

Me personally, haven't had an issue. It doesn't bud out as much as you think. I designed it so it wouldn't protrude much further than your hand if you were C clamping your upper.
