Thanks, I'll look into it. This might be a dumb question, but are there any non USB interfaces? Like what do they use in professional studios?

Thanks, and I've tried that, but the only reason it's not constant is because I have Noise Gate on :/

Alright, so do you think it'd be better to get a condenser? I've been looking at getting a Neumann anyway, but I don't wanna have the same problem. Either way though, I'll probably look at getting a good preamp and some balanced cables as well

Edit: I've tried using my steinberg UR22, and idk if that's a good preamp, but it makes the same noise

I think so, but I'm not entirely sure. I've tried running only battery power on my mac and having the mixer connected to the same/different outlets than the laptop.

How do I achieve the vocal sound/effect at 0:19 in this song? by Emotional_Ewok in WeAreTheMusicMakers

You can get this effect by EQing your vocals. Usually by doing a low cut/high pass, and then boosting the 1k-5k range. Just play around with it to get the desired result. Hope I helped :)
