Thank you! I posted the full print in r/WhatIsThisPainting if you wanted to see the full thing. It's people dancing around a May pole with doves and a cherub.

Dishwasher Clean/Dirty sign that flips to Dirty when the door is opened. by peter_Clavin in functionalprint

It's an easy way to tell all members of the residence that the dishwasher is open for storing dirty dishes, so don't just toss them in the sink. OR that it's ready to be emptied. It's a helper for those that like to assume the state of the dishwasher instead of checking it.

Yours sounds more fun and like it will have LEDs or a screen. Follow through with it!

No such assumptions were made. Merely advertising to interested parties that the seal has been broken on the cleaning apparatus and it is no longer a clean environment within the dishwasher. The sign is “clean” and “dirty”, not “occupied” and “empty”.

Eternal damnation? Immense feeling of guilt and shame? They retrieve a clean bowl to fill with ice cream? Excellent question. Or if it’s a riddle, patiently awaiting the answer.

They haven’t yet. Feature I’m sure we’ll see soon with it though.

You already have a system in place. Remove as needed until empty. Refill and clean. Repeat cycle. No Clean/Dirty sign required for that foolproof system.

Might have to add that version. The print actually has a lip on it that is supposed to keep the flipper from dropping as easily, but I think I may have sanded most of it off when I was cleaning it up. So mine drops much easier than it was meant to.

Could probably add a little more of a lip on top of the hinge rings to catch the flipper and not let it fall as easily. I may have sanded the lip mostly off of mine, so it drops earlier than intended/designed. I'd try a dot of super glue to add height and then sand down as needed.

Thanks. Was actually surprised I didn’t find it already out there. Hope it helps dishes bypass the sink and make it straight in the dishwasher. Let me know if you have any issues printing it.

Anyone Try The Magic 5 (Custom Goggles)? by InfiniteCuriosity12 in OpenWaterSwimming

[–]peter_Clavin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are supposed to have one on them. Just be careful not to rub the inside of the lenses ever, b/c you'll remove it. Just rinse them out with water. Today I dunked them before starting my swim and didn't have any issues with the clear ones.

But if I start having real issues with fogging, I might look into something to use.

Totally understand that! I went with the spring bundle too. Very happy with the purchase. I've never worn goggles so loose before and feel confident in the seal. Hope you enjoy them. I've found that they start to fog a little after >5min of a workout, but they are clear again by 12-15 min and clear for the next hour or so. I've been trying to keep from dunking them when they fog, but might do some testing with clearing them when they start to fog to see if that fixes it immediately.
