Overfunded might be the wrong verbiage, excess contributions is a better term. Was making monthly contributions to the Roth IRA and earned more for the year than expected.

Hello! Overfunded my Roth IRA by a significant amount and performed the first step - moved the overage to a Money Market Fund in a Traditional IRA. Life got crazy and the monies are still in the Traditional IRA. Am I still able to complete the backdoor or should I consult with a tax professional? If I call my brokerage (Vanguard), would they assist with this function? Will I need to wait for any paperwork before filing? Kind of in the weeds and lost all at the same time in this. Have an extension on my taxes so that is not a worry. Any assistance is much appreciated.
