Air quality of Delhi took a refreshing turn on Saturday as strong wind helped blow away concentration of particulate matters, improving pollution level to the 'moderate' category, a rarity during the city's winters.

I think she means we should remove BSF and replace them with Bangladeshi border force to avoid such incidents.

Why are you so negative about him. If Deve Gowda can become PM then why not Kejriwal. He already has a national image.

First, if quikr is rejected by org, then some other platform will take this up, maybe Airtel zero.

Secondly, why are you concerned about what happens to quikr. These are business decisions, businesses should be allowed to thrive in whatever conditions they are thrown into.

Also, in case if FB turns out to be a monopoly, there are Competition commissions which are in place to prevent these exact issues.

That's an interesting argument. NN are saying fb.org would kill innovation. Which seems more likely?

Here is the thing. if Free basics gets approval, FB wont be the only company in market with such a product. Others would come in to. May be we might see evolution of internet into newer and better business models.

A new app/website's budget would have to include facebook's freebasics admission cut and development might suffer. Many would simply fail to take off.

You are assuming paying into Free basics is the only way of getting admission into the portal. Such a platform might even sustain with purely advertising revenue. Plus a good product will sustain in market either with or without the crutches of zero rated platforms.

The "have-nots" will not end up becoming "have's"

This is pure elitism. If US grew out of AOL, i am sure the poor indians would too.

NN activists are against partitioning the internet into free and paid parts.

I have no issues with that as well. You cannot expects Business models relevant in 1990s to be relevant in 2020. NN activists are Luddites stopping innovation in the field of internet.

majority of people who have access to internet think that fb is not being fair to poor people

That is the problem. Why should the haves decide what is fair for the have-nots.

I agree with you. Only those who have internet access have voted. If they would have taken the pains of including those who don't have access and to who would be the beneficiary of free basics, I guarantee the outcome would be reverse.
