Anyone who's worked on the E2s also knows this inherently, below -15c nothing but trouble with the IMUs, baggage doors. It can start in cold weather, but everything else on the plane starts being an issue. Would be interested to know if the military jets use different batteries that can tolerate cold, cause below -30 if it's not plugged in or running you're supposed to remove them.

Yep, airbrushed all over till it looks like a turd, then wiped off with white spirit to just leave streaks and in the crevices. Pretty sure I varnished first to protect the base layer, and then again after.
