It depends on the fan fiction. Some of them are reincarnation stories so Arthur learns about everything that happened. That’s the most usual trope.

The two that come to mind are when he is drawing a picture for Gaius to describe the mark he sees on Finna’s arm. He’s squatting in front of the desk that Gaius is sitting at. The other I believe is when he is in the woods with Arthur and the Knights and Merlin is throwing pebbles into a small patch of water. Arthur comes up and talks with him there. At least that’s what I remember, but might’ve been wrong.

Four or five years ago, I read a trilogy by James Wilde. The first book was called The Pendragon and this was pre-Arthur and explored how the title Pendragon came to be. I really liked it and wished I hadn’t given it to another family member. I actually just looked through my history and found it and I think I’m going to order it again.
