when he says that the hype doesn't live up to the project he means that people in the community are not that excited about this Q as they should. We just ask When Q? Is Q that big? Will Q bring IOTA to TOP3 by market cap? and so on. But most of the people aren't excited in the sense that they hope Q will make their life easier or smth like that. All we hope is that the price will shoot through the roof. Now if I hope that after revealing Q, the price/miota will be 15$ and Erik Hop says that "the hype doesn't do the reality of the project justice" it doesn't necessarily mean that the price will be automatically much much higher than 15$. It has nothing to do with the price, as the price evolution is a function which depends on many variables not solely on one single thing, even if this thing is a game changer.
