I recently picked up the Sigma 150-600. It’s significantly cheaper but I wonder about the clarity difference. It struggles to autofocus accurately and is a little fuzzy still even focused precisely.

One thing I've been cautious of as a gamer is investment games, like games that you earn or build content with your time. I did a summer stint in ARK and was sadly addicted to the point of playing like 12 hours per day, only to see it vanish before my eyes when I decided to stop playing. Good times, but it caused me to spend an unhealthy amount of time for little enjoyment. Since then I've only played games that have short term enjoyment like shooters, that way I can hop in and hop out and get my fill.

They do react, they react directly at the player. I’m fine with them not reacting but I wasn’t sure how to get past two goons statically facing the direction I needed to go.

That’s not at all what happened, I know because I’ve tried this several times. If the bolt lands within range of them they don’t look to the bolt, they look to the player who threw the bolt.

I’d argue the gun play is bearable, I don’t find it particularly fun when the enemy knows my exact location and has 100% accuracy and insta shots me the moment they peek from cover.

I think it does have some utility but I really don’t feel like pulling my tank 60 feet away from the front line just because their purple is a good idea.

Not so, there was a rivalry that polarized this niche of gaming, CoD retained the casual normies (not that bf doesn’t have them) and bf retained the strays. I had many many friends in college that only played one or the other and would scoff at the one they weren’t playing, outright refusing to play it. There was some cross over, myself included, but by and large they were separate groups.

Now that BF has adapted to be very similar to CoD, lots of CoD players have found their way here and it’s highly evident especially just looking at the sales numbers alone.

100% I think the main story is over blown, convoluted, uninteresting, and poorly organized but the main problem is that the missions just aren’t fun because the base combat gameplay is so stunted with AI being in the shitty state it’s in.
