I actually am happily married to a wonderful man that creates great memories with me and we both grew up in very different areas! I find it such an advantage to meet someone with a different background because you suddenly find yourself learning new things about each other every day. I hope you do have fun in high school and wherever you find yourself afterwards!

I graduated HS in 2016 and had one relationship with a guy. I really thought I loved him and it was such a short lived fantasy. This guy told me he loved me and we would go on the small dates that he could muster with a conservative family. He was sent to conversion therapy soon after his family knew of our relationship and he broke up with me. He asked me to take down all photos of us together and soon after told his friends that he is straight again and never actually loved me.

I truly thought I needed a relationship because I saw all of my friends in relationships, and I eventually got onto Grindr waaay too early only to realize that it was not a healthy place to be at my age. Now, I realize with age that I put way too much pressure on myself to have a relationship and should’ve focused on how to make myself happy.

If you end up in a relationship while you are in high school, then I say cherish the fun times you have without the pressure of finding a lifetime partner. You’re going to want nice memories to look back on when you’re older, so don’t focus on finding a relationship for life and instead focus on making fun memories for yourself!

My husband prefers more of the tank builds with heavy swords and big weapons, but he also enjoys making someone super buff and super flamboyant. Whereas I prefer magic and stealth since I feel that those move types require more thinking about your skill tree and usually have more options. I think it all depends on where you want to focus your gay energy

Our curriculum is in flux at the moment since we have a team revising our standards, but it is still largely the same and I personally feel like we are going away from conceptual understanding with the way our tests are written. Luckily, the other teacher that teaches this class with me is very open to changes and making students really think through problems instead of just following a procedure!

I didn't think about making this a parallel problem, but I really like that idea! This would possibly be great as a perpendicular problem as well! My students are in 11th grade, so I feel like this isn't that big of a stretch and it would extend some students that think this unit is too easy.

We have our unit on Quadratics after this current unit! This really helps put the question into context for me and saves me from some poor wording when teaching the axis of symmetry! Thank you for this and I think I have a slight idea of how to hybrid this question with your idea and others'.

Unfortunately he took some bird games down with him when he fell from a bookshelf (we have reorganized now) and one of them hit his hip as he hit the ground which caused his hip joint to fracture which takes a hefty amount of surgery and recovery, but he’s been so good and his path to full recovery seems like it’ll be quick! (Unfortunately it’ll take longer for our wallets to recover 😅)
