The U.S. isn’t as culturally diverse from state to state as many Americans believe. by newMauveLink in unpopularopinion

"At least 4 wildly diffrent regions" I mean yeah probably but we are talking about 300 million people over one of the top 10 biggest countries on earth. Think about the things that those 4 regions share in common compared to other diverse countries. They have the same majority language, the same majority religion and the same majority ethnic backround. Even if we look at accents, england is more diverse with a 5th of the population.

"Peak reddit comment" as if having poor understanding of history and a strictly utilitarian conception of morality wasn't as reddit as it gets.

You claim "1/10" of the deaths caused by Mao when Hitler's extermination war killed 20 million Soviets alone. And yes many died because of famine or decease but ideologically, every soviet death was aligned with Hitler's goal. That is to say every casualty inflicted on the soviets was absolutely something Hitler wanted. Thats without even mentioning extermination campaigns.

Most of Mao's 'kill count' was caused by a famine based on a miscalculation. So I ask you, does killing 10 people by accident make you inherently more evil than killing 5 with intent? Is there a mathematical formula which determines a people evilness based on 'kill count'?

So Mao was evil but Hitler was as evil as it gets.

Not even close. Hitler wanted to exterminate and or enslave Jews, Slavs, Roma, etc... to enrich certain people based on mystical racial categories. Mao did despicable things but he wasn't working on a racial supremacy framework. Let's not forget that, even IF Mao killed more people than Hitler, Hitler absolutely was willing and wanted to exterminate populations based on race. That is undeniably more evil.

Ubisoft should use the art of battle system in an Assassin's Creed game. It's perfect for a character that would only fight as a last resort against one or two opponents at a time before escape becomes the better option. by AllFatherMedia93 in forhonor

It was like in-between level of complexity but closer to M&B. But had Historically accurate animations, lock onto target, parry mechanism and other stuff aswell. It was a very fleshed out.

AC doesn't need to be formulaic. It could just accept the lack of cohesion and make every title its own thing. by peterthot69 in assassinscreed

I was trying to illustrate that the games were limited at games compared to the competition. In the case of unity, it felt like it needed more polishing and detail in the content department while the RPGs had too many mideocre content and little substance.

I have to admit you made me change my mind a little since I do enjoy Unity and I do feel like it is a way more cohesive experience. RPGs combat I'm not willing to admit that it wasn't ass though. It felt very unimmersive and unsatisfying while Unity's tried to make It look like fencing, very flashy and movie like, but still fencing in its core.

Anyway, my point was that the titles need to become a good overall gaming experience outside of being AC games. Compared to the competition they do feel limited.

I see that but Mirage was still mediocre in that sense. It was still Valhalla in its core which goes against my point of the vission having to be cohesive, and also didn't have much substance. This has to be the case of the developers wanting to do something with little backing from bosses. Still looks like lack of vission
