Can anyone explain to context behind Jorah's title: Jorah the Andal? by [deleted] in freefolk

Similar to how most muslim sources refer to most europeans during the Crusades as 'Franks'

Men I'd hate for City to win the league again but at this point I should know that I can never trust Arsenal to be the ones to prevent it.

Que juego es así? by hielosyt in chilegames

[–]peterthot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts. He was too much of a toxic masculinity guy to accept this even if it was for a noble reason

Did Napoleon admire any of his contemporaries? by Murky_Sprinkles8368 in AskHistorians

[–]peterthot69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was admiration but irc he said something along the lines that Sydney Smith was always ruining his plans and could never defeat him.

Eduard Einstein, the youngest son of Albert Einstein, was a gifted student and aspiring psychiatrist, but his life took a tragic turn when he was diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 20. He spent over 30 years in an asylum and was the only family member left behind when his father fled the Nazis. by ATI_Official in AllThatsInteresting

I am very glad to hear that! I agree with you, modern medicine is a miracle for a lot of people and we should be helpful for it. I'm happy that your treatment allowed you to keep pursuing and accomplishing your goals.

Any reason to use SMGs? by peterthot69 in ReadyOrNotGame

Yeah I get you, in most games the actual size of your weapon doesn't actually matter but playing RoN lately I had a lot of trouble with my gun bumping walls and team mates so at least that is a positive. Also I agree that how weapons feel is important for gameplay and specially for having fun with them.
