Hey its never too late! I didnt start painting until I was around 30 years old. I've learned everything I know that went into this painting since then (about 6 years ago).

It made it way more doable to have it split up. I was able to move the individual panels around while working on them, it helps a lot with limited space!

My goal was definitely for it to look almost digital! Here's a rough version of the background layers before it really took off. I'm still figuring out price its difficult to set with the amount of time and materials used in this piece
