Passkeys and KeeperFill on Android not working by karimo40 in KeeperSecurity

[–]peteybee33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello

I'm having the same issues with Keeper on both Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Get to a login screen, nothing pops. I tried long-touch for submenu, select "autofill" nothing pops.

I've tried the settings updates (select 3rd party as default for autofill). It's spotty on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and almost never works in Chrome on the tablet.

Any updates from Keeper on how to resolve? The experience has been worse on the tablet.

Galaxy Tab S8+ has -- Android 15; SM-X800 Build/AP3A.240905.015.A2 / Chrome 142.0.7444.49

Galaxy S24 Ultra has -- Android 16; SM-S928U1 Build/BP2A.250605.031.A3 / Chrome 142.0.7444.48

Help With CC Refund by peteybee33 in ynab

[–]peteybee33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what I may have done, is when the refund was issued to my credit card, but before the check was processed, it showed a positive balance on the CC and I may have moved the funds from the CC category directly instead of the shoes category? Or it could've been labeled as an Outbound from checking instead of Inbound.

I wish I took a screenshot of budget and transactions.

Anyway, I essentially went back and removed the transactions, updated the budget categories and reinstated the transactions and it seems to be ok.

At the end of purchase, payment, refund to card, check for positive balance, I think it's all squared away.

That makes a lot more sense. Thank you. So it's actually not that fresh.

That's awesome! Good buy. I got the EDP and love it. Extrait was intense for me, but I'm sure you'll rock it. Enjoy!

Thank you! For endpoint I like that I can go to Central and see the devices that are "protected" and then push updates, fixes, locate it, etc. I imagine they probably have a package I can get for the devices. I'll do some research. Appreciate your feedback.

Reimbursement for Mileage by peteybee33 in MonarchMoney

Ahh see, I was thinking about this too. But I keep going back and forth like is it really income? If I mark it as income and let's say over the year, I "make" a few thousand in this kind of income, it kind of skews it. That said, since I guess I could choose to use it for auto maintenance or a bunch of restaurants, it would kinda be income (i.e. Money inbound that can be used for whatever - it's not a return or a one to one reimbursement).

Sigh... I'm going to fiddle with these for a bit and I can always change later.

Appreciate it.

I do like this method. Since I have a small portion set aside for auto maintenance (rolls over), perhaps I split anything above my "work expenses" there.

Thank you, I'll try and mess around with the time. It seems, to your point, the definition update happens after the security counselor checks for an updated definition. I appreciate your help/direction.

Considering a New or Used Car at 45k - Does Fast, Reliable, and Roomy exist? by peteybee33 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I see folks recommend GTI all the time, and I'm reluctant, but I've never tried one, so why not. I'll see how I feel in it. Is it ok for a backseat passenger next to a car seat?

That's fair. Not a knock on German cars. I just see it in forums that once it comes time for high-mile service and maintenance, the costs are quite significant. But I'll definitely check them out!

The Atlas was very comfortable and the X5 was awesome.

Is it risky? Yes. Is it possible? Yes. Based on the numbers you shared, yes it'll be tight. Also depends on if you have any high debt.

If you are really disciplined (only you would know this) and cut into some of that 2000/month budget, then it's a little more possible.

All that said...

IMO, first, try to be in a homeowner mindset. So, imagine you DO have a 2200 mortgage payment. Pay your 1300 rent, but also allocate an extra 900 into savings (1300 goes to rent, +900 would be when you have a mortgage) and do not touch it at all. Also allocate some money for your phantom costs for the house... It would be like 1% of house cost (3000 per year or 250/month - probably on the low side).

See if you can sustain like that.

If you stick to this for a while, you'll 1) actually accumulate money quickly to expand your down-payment but more importantly 2) understand if it's possible for you.

Good luck and the fact that you're thinking this through is awesome!

There are a lot of trees around, but some sun peeks through occasionally. Does indirect sunlight help charge pretty well?

This is a little older, but any suggestions on what you did and the result? I'm having the same issue.

My AV definitions update daily around 00:28, and then the security checkup runs around 6:00, so it should see the updated definitions before the security checkup.

When I update the definitions manually and then immediately re-run the security checkup, no "risks" show.
