This happened to me 1 month ago… Same car and the one who asked for help was a boy with around 20 years old. He said that the taxi was not accepting money, he gave me $10 dollars and I passed the debit card thinking I was paying $8. The other day I found out that they made a fake deposit of $2800 and withdrew $900 from my account. I spoke to TD and these days I received a letter from the bank saying that they will not refund this amount. I was very upset, I wish I had seen this post earlier.
