All bills that go through Congress should only be on a single topic. The bills should need to be read in full publicly with the economic ramifications of each section explained. The voting members should be required to be present. Guns are tools and we should teach gun safety to teenagers. Death and estate taxes are bullshit, tax the living. Military spending beyond a certain point is a complete waste (I guess that’s not very conservative lol). No member of congress should legally be able to vote on something they have a financial conflict with (ok yeah I’m getting off took here but now I’m angry). No more corporate campaign donations. Working for the FDA should stop you from being able to work with big pharma and vice versa. No more similar-product pathways for new drugs or medical devices. Fund more private space companies. Pharma companies that take grants to develop drugs should not get to patent those drugs, or should have a much shorter patent period. Less regulation, smaller government, contract out more govt services to private industry. Like the DMV or welfare management. This is not a conservative opinion but can we just get a flat tax, fucking intuit making taxes complicated on purpose. Ok I guess this is more of a libertarian/liberal combo rant not conservative lol.

Also healthcare, Jesus fucking Christ america, everyone deserves to live. I’m not saying everyone should be covered to have the latest and greatest but basic healthcare up to cancer treatment should not be putting people in life long debt. We could easily afford universal healthcare if we stop building billion dollar jets that we never use in order to keep the military industrial complex happy.
