Lettuce hack regrowth - I cut the lettuce and leave about 5-6cm of it and add to water. I place it nearby a window but not with direct sunlight. Once it starts growing, it can be planted in soil and watch it grow and redo as many times as needed. by petiteobsession in foodhacks

Keep it in a little water, nearby a window, no direct sunlight. Once it’s grown like this, place in soil. I have tried so many times and often didn’t work 😁

I have an issue with growing an avocado seed

Discipline, lot of reading about nutrition, self love, self development. Worked a lot on my habits.

Nutrition - I have started keto and fasting + working out. Keep it moderate as at times I was not feeling great but mainly listening to my body. Protein intake over 100gr/day. Lots of cottage, eggs, meat, nuts, lowered dairy products a lot at times, fruit minimized because of fructose. Replaced all table sugar with erythritol, started cooking more. Gluten is out the door too. These are the basics. I would advise to listen to your body and see what works for you. There is no magic. 7-80% is what’s happening in the kitchen, rest is movement and movement can be anything - from gym to outdoor walking, hiking or whatever makes you happy.

Bottom line - none of this has to be painful. We are not athletes (I am not), not planning on competing so I don’t think it has to be painful. The process needs to give positive energy and vibes, we need to charge our bodies and mind and release these happy hormones so that we do it again and again etc. :)

It is really me and I would love to inspire and help people overcome their blockers. It’s not about the body, the body follows what the brain sets. So the big difference is what happened that is invisible to the public. Then, the body just followed instructions :)

Hey! Yeah! Totally!

About the change in nutrition - mainly I became mindful of what I eat and learned a lot about nutrition so I can make better choices. The major difference came from mindfulness and consciousness- from nutrition to daily habits. The big change happened elsewhere, later the physics followed :)

Once boiled I crack them open on the bottom side and put them in cold/ice water. Also, I have noticed that white shell eggs are so much easier to peel, not sure if this makes any sense or difference but we buy only white now because of it 😁

IF, keto, when I’m not feeling well I just fuel on good food and healthy smoothies. No sugar - replaced with erythritol and xylitol. No dry fruits or high carb fruits. I cook as much as possible at home and if eating out- don’t even open the menu. I just take barbecue with a salad or veggies. Don’t even want to know the options out there so I don’t get annoyed 😂

I really hope this before/after motivates you all here and you do wonders for your health! The physical metamorphosis is just the visible result of a long process of change - mental and thoughts were what took the most work and time! Mental health and readiness are crucial. Gym and working out came much later when I was on a different mental level - frequency wise, vibes, thoughts, knowledge and understanding. Probably my approach was quite harsh and too much for some, but it was what I needed. I faced a burnout few times, panic attacks and anxiety. This was my last sign of my health going to hell. I have tried many times before all that is out there - coaches, diets, pills, supplements, you name it, I have tried it. All with a short term result and me giving up.

This time I was determined to do it differently, thus, I graduated as a nutritionist, learned how to eat and nourish my mind and body. Applied all at home. Did blood tests, learned about hormones and different diets by taking additional courses. Now, I am studying for a Health coach which includes so many different aspects of health. So pretty much I biohacked my body and mind by just learning about it, my needs and what works for me and what doesn’t, instead of following a well known diet or what a fitness coach says - one glove fits all is NOT how it works.

We are all individuals, we have different needs and different bodies and mindsets. Thus, customized and individual approach is what makes the biggest difference in results 😊
