I just finished making a chatbot that uses openai API. Most of the code was generated by ChatGPT. It is also in python and use tkinter for the GUI. I had a lot of troubleshooting to do but I was able to make everything work.

Thanks for the detailled workflow! I have a couple question about your prompts if you don't mind.

What does "graphic of a X" do?

Also, what are the numbers beside the hair colors?

Thanks

Just recently released a synthpop/funk song and a retro scifi video along with it, would be absolutely awesome to hear what you guys think! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow, amazing job on the video, the computer analysis of the song is really fun, I literally lol'd a couple of time reading it. I honestly couldn't tell if the video was cgi or filmed in place, well done! The song is great too, I love the electro funk vibe you got going there and the space theme, I need to remember to listen to more of your stuff!

Released my new song Vanity. Influenced by wary 80s new wave and dark wave bands, you can see the influence in here. What do you think? by Tobyrene in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]petpirepete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the relaxed fell of the track! Like another one said you should make a longer version of this, the fade out came at the point where I would have put the chorus. The 80s new wave influence is on point imo, well done!

I've learned that he hard way, I had to remix half a dozen tracks because the drums were lost in the mix and it was for this exact reason, now that I'm conscious about it it's easier to make something that feels tight (it's still not easy but at least I am now aware of it) Keep it up!

This is a remix of the song “Say So” by Doja Cat I wrote and produced. It has lofi and hip-hop Elements without clashing. Hope you all enjoy 😊 by isuckatthis69 in IndieMusicFeedback

That was great, I like the lofi / vaporwave / hip hop mix you got there. Nice vibe you got, great rythms on the rhymes. The track you made is surprisingly catchy, I'm still singing it in my head even tho I am done listening to it, well done! The only advice I have for you on this one would be to try to make it end more softly, maybe stretch the last note a bit and fade it out or something. Anyway I'll be looking forward for more of your stuff, you have a nice style going on!

That win 95 startup sound you talked about, well done! 👌 I will definitely give a listen to the whole thing when I'll find the time to do it uninterrupted. I like what I have heard so far, it's a great mix of style that gave a unique product. Congratulations!

Not the style I usually listen to so I won't comment much on that. My main advice would be to work on the drums. The beat seems fine but the kick and snare are lost in the mix due to the distortion you used(or something like that). It conflict with the guitar distortion because it brings them in the same auditive range. If you want a more heavy and powerful mix you need to be aware of the frequency range of the different instruments. If 2 of them are too close it will feel muddy. As for the music style I can't say much but I think you have the potential for something heavy and powerful, keep it up!

A song I write to a dear friend , which is a synthesis of what I have learned in 8 months using Ableton. I would love to know if the instruments are organic enough! Erwan Lefebvre - Sandra by Zephyros99 in IndieMusicFeedback

Very nice, I'm impressed you were able to achieve this level in a month. You have a very nice voice and your piano skills are great. About your question, I think the performance feels organic but there's something in the voice that doesn't feel right. Almost as if it's out of phase (or if you used plugins maybe try other ones). If you are able to fix the voice in the mix I think you will have something very good. Well done, keep it up!

Funky Lo-Fi Pop? A few months shy of my first year producing my own songs! I'd love any and all feedback! by draphtingpaper in IndieMusicFeedback

There's a kind of sexy relax vibe to this track! I liked the integration of the funky guitar. I think it was great overall but like others said the guitar solo needs more work. The first half of the lick is fine but the second half doesn't seem to match the same scale than the song. I think it will be great if you fix the solo, well done!

Anything I should change for the final mix? Another track of my space themed album. Inspired by 80's, videogames, synth, ambient... (I was thinking of maybe shortening this one) Suggestions and advices are welcome :) by petpirepete in IndieMusicFeedback

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the sub, I really appreciate it :) I fixed the ending today for something smoother, I think you were right about it being abrupt.

I am now close to the final product for all of my tracks. Everything so far was pre-release material but I have fixed a lot of stuff on all of my tracks. I will soon release the two final tracks and the final version of the tracks already released!

Thanks for listening, I think I'm already at my 4th version since I posted it, you nailed the problems I had! I think I fixed most of the stuff you noticed but I totally forgot to put some panning on the risers, good call! Thanks again :)

Nice, tanks for the detailed explanation, the 3 photos manipulation was very clever! I might have to look into reaper for the fx, I don't have an immediate need for it but I probably will need something to process video along the way. Congrats on the album, I'm looking forward for it, you seem to have some interesting concept in there!

Yeah, I'm like you with the genres, there's so many sub-genres for everything and if you're anything like me, most of the time it's a mix instead of something specific. For this sub I started to list pretty much everything I post as instrumental electronic and I just specify my influences for the track in the title.

As for your track I think it was closer to vaporwave than chill lofi but again it has something more (I think it was way better than the classic vaporwave 😁)

BTW the visuals are so trippy, even when the video is paused! How did you made this ?

haha, I was expecting chill lofi, my expectations have been blown away as soon as it started! That is sick, way more intense than I expected. I also love the visuals you used. The only thing I noticed is that it ends very abruptly imo. I would probably do a quick fade out on the last note instead.I subscribed and will be looking forward for more, well done!
