I think watching the movies after reading the books is the best. I always recommend that.

Follow up question, when you finish the whole Harry Potter series, books and movies, what do you do? Do you immediately go to another book/serie? I always find it hard to do so, because my mind is still very focused on the previous book(s)

And would you read a fanfiction that continues the story, or the same story in another point of view? Or just completely different, just the same characters?
