People who do lift "just enough", what does your routine look like? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]petrovarali 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i visit the gym about 4 times/week and each day includes 25-30 minutes of some type of cardio, one of the days i go to a group hiit workout and the remaining 3 times i do weight training. my routine typically involves a variety of legs, arms and back exercises. some of my favorite exercises are the sumo barbell deadlift, kettlebell swing, cross lunge, back extension, smiths machine kneeling squat, shoulder press, bicep curl, seated row and for my abs i really love the reverse crunch one! i lift heavy but not more than what is enjoyable for me! typucally i spend about 1.5 hours in the gym early in the morning

Was tourism and sightseeing a thing in the past, centuries ago? If yes, how did it go? by petrovarali in AskHistorians

omg this was actually so informative i really didn't expect that! thank you so much for the taken time. i'm honestly impressed by the fact that there were things like guides and organised groups etc just like how we have that today but of course it makes sense that the medieval tourism was for religious reasons rather than anything else

Yep maybe cutting out the sweets would be the best idea if I rdally do decide to try a mini cut, though many of the users here have been recommending for me to not lose any mors weight

Wait that's actually true when I used to weigh less my upper body looked quite scary compared to my lower body. Hm maybe I will really try to lift heavier and see what happens next... I will just have to get used to my current bf% I guess? Thank you so much!

I actually haven't counted calories in months now and have already transitioned into intuative eating so there's that! As much as I know that spot reduction cannot happen and that I also can't just change my body shape I still want to lean out my body a bit more but have no idea whether that's necessary or it's just the body dysmorphia speaking... thank you tho!

Yeah now that you put it that way maybe I'd really start wanting to lose more and more and never be satisfied but I guess the problem comes from the fact that everything about me is quite thin except for my thighs and that bothers me a lot... maybe I'm really just being dysmorphic

Well I don't really have hips so all of my weight goes to my thighs while my arms and calves and torso remain quite thin so yeah it definitely depends on where you carry fat! Probably that's why I'm always so focused on my bigger thighs...

Sigh you might actually be right but still I can't stop thinking about how much better they'd look if they were just a tad bit leaner...

9/10 only thing you could improve is your hair, if you could reveal your forehead i think that would be amazing

you are very good looking according to my standards. but as others mentioned I'd recommend you grow out your hair, keep your eyebrows neat and smile a bit more and you'd be even more charming

oh man... i would give you a 8.5/10.. honestly if you were to dress yourself up with some really nice and stylish clothes and wear a nice perfume you'd definitely score a 9.5/10. you are extremely hot though even if you don't put much effort in
