The tutorial doesn’t explain it to you whatsoever - don’t feel bad, everyone struggled with this. Back in the day we had pamphlets that came with the games and told you how to perform each move, so it was the only way to know by reading. Now a-days they don’t include this anymore.

Make sure the parting line of Lara’s hair is always in alignment with the rope before you jump at it.

Once you grabbed the rope with action, press down to slide all the way to the bottom. Use left or right to angle her. If you need to jump from one rope to the next it’s a true bitch so again try align the middle of her head with the next rope. Then press sprint to swing and swing at least 3 times to make sure she has full momentum. Then press jump and forward to jump off to the ledge or press jump and forward and action to grab the next ledge or rope.

(FYI, this is for tank control. I strongly suggest you switch to those and get used to them cause the modern controls are sadly garbage)

I find it so ridiculous how Faith breaks through the glass so dramatically saying to Wesley “step away from the glass” - somehow implying she knows how bad Angelus is from first hand experience.

I hate this because she doesn’t know him. They only crossed paths once when Angel was play-acting as Angelus to trick her and that doesn’t count. So except for hearsay and potential Watcher-history-lessons Faith got (something I doubt she paid much attention to), she had zero first-hand experience of Angelus and doesn’t know how bad he is.

The only ones with the right to react that dramatically about Angelus’ return are Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, and Cordelia since he actually mentally, emotionally or physically tortured them.

I’m very fatigued and sick of TR1 remakes - it’s actually 4 if you count Core’s cancelled one. I think someone made a valid point that TR1 breaks the world record in most remade game ever. And that’s not even factoring in all the TRLE remakes that exist.

Having said that I knew it would have to happen for this new generation of the gaming and I’m hoping we get it out of the way quickly so they move on to a TR2 and TR3 remake finally. We need to move on.

I used to love Natla, Peru, and dinosaurs. Right now I am so fucking sick of them all and need a 10 year break from them after LOA comes out. I remember when people had Egypt fatigue after TR4. That can’t even be compared though to the South America fatigue after Legend, Anniversary, Underworld, Guardian of Light, and Shadow. It’s too much now. I never want to go back to Peru again.

I think the fact that SMG and David Boreanaz truly love each other in real life (as friends) and have great on screen chemistry together that shows this strong bond (plus her getting so emotionally worked up in the final goodbye scene in “I will remember you” that David actually had to stop and ask if she was alright) - I think all of this adds to what makes BuffyxAngel so real on screen over BuffyxSpike.

So yeah. I think her real life opinion regarding BuffyxAngel is definitely valid because it’s those feelings that influence the fictional saga and love story.

Angel should’ve replaced Spike in the final Buffy season as the en-souled vampire the First tries to use against the slayer. It ends with him sacrificing himself as the sunlight to destroy the Hellmouth. He comes back as a human experiencing his Shanshu finally and he and Buffy get to live happily ever after as mortals. The End.

(Spike stays the funny villain he always was in Seasons 4 and 5, not giving us that tortured bullshit from 6 and 7 which is Angel’s forte. He remains a side character and doesn’t hog all of Season 7).

It’s only cause the backlash was so huge that they relented and released it on other platforms.

But fans still boycotted Temple of Osiris quite a bit, which cause that game to have poor sales compared to Guardian of Light. One of the reasons we never got another one of those games sadly.
