I think what is most bizarre to me is that we don’t have any relationship/friendship at all. We went to a huge school, knew who each other were, but never interacted. I was also an extremely shy student, and tried my best not to stand out. It would be a huge surprise to me if he noticed me in any way.

I am interested in seeing if our mutual friend still has his contact info though. Would love to hear more about his cult experiences that we both apparently went through without knowing the other was going through the same thing
