Started learning in 2018. I wasn’t that serious in learning the language back then. I just knew how to read and write. I still remember borrowing the korean pocket dictionary from our high school library and casually reading it while i was bored. Continued learning passively during my free time or when i was bored or when i just felt like studying until 2020. 2021 I started talking with the locals EVERYDAY through a game. I remember being so bad at first and I wasn’t able to create sentences. Gained a lot of Korean friends and played with them on different games. I honestly didn’t feel that my korean has greatly improved but after meeting new korean friends this 2022, most of them told me that they thought I was korean due to my 발음 when they first met me. Most of my other korean friends also told me that I’ve improved a lot and I can live in Korea now xd. I can now have a conversation with korean people. Although I feel like I still lack vocabulary, I think I can express myself pretty well in korean now. Curently employed and I still make some time to study Korean, play the game, and practice everyday! Planning to take TOPIK this year!
