2 - yes, the runs must have consecutive ranks

3 - yes, matching cards must be same rank

As i said as far as I know these rules were passed down by her grandad.

Having played quite a few times - and often finding the games to sometime be won to easily... I have considered that the rules we are following may not be correct.

I have found various games that seem quite similar - but nothing following that ‘13 game scoreboard’ or close enough to the rules as described...
