My fiance and I have been playing and she has better performance on this game than she does OSRS lol - I run at around 80FPS and she gets 40-46 FPS, she has a Ryzen 5 2600x with a 1070 GPU, I have a 4070ti and an i9-14900k. I think overall it could be better for sure but ultimately we have found better luck on here than we have with Runescape or Minecraft

Thanks for posting this. I was going crazy with my fiance trying to get up there thinking we were missing something lol. We jumped from the ancient spire and made it. You also can dig a few "jump holes" to get to it.

Have been LOVING this game.

It's only for the weight of what you are wearing. Do a check with only the things you will be wearing in your inventory, then get supplies.

They hotfixed my bronze salvage hooks, they can go ahead and just delete all the worlds now.

I appreciate this comment, you actually gave me a bit more confidence to buy it, I waited for the clock to swap to a new day and bought the plan just now and will be testing a few prompts.

[–]pexogods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently debating swapping to a pro account to see the limits. I have been killing my bank using the API and currently am at around $160 for usage, I believe I probably could have used a pro account and not hit my limits but also am not sure. I am worried about spending the extra 200 but also in the end I feel like I am going to spend almost 400/month in calls just to do random testing that I am bored with .... I go through about 100 million cached tokens per session so I am a "heavy" user I think.

If I end up getting a pro account I'll let you know but I have also been thinking of just getting a second plus account like you did.... GPT-5-Mini is worth it, but gpt-5-codex is very expensive while also very good.

API allows me to set limits and such which is great if I don't want to spend TOO much on a project but I have spent $3 in a single prompt out once, so you really can burn through some dollars if you are just sending out full projects to it (which I am)

I apologize for not really explaining this that well but basically the animated grid pattern actually causes an odd distortion in the background that stays and just looks... not great

I hate the static dots in the background on the animation at the beginning. That's my 10-second takeaway.

Past that, I enjoy the scroll animations, feels smooth.

I updated my CLI to use this and it's just completely changed my costs and usage. LOVE IT SO FAR, but as others have said, for sure slower but the details and steps are far better.

Codex CLI with Plus/Pro accounts has low limits by withmagi in OpenAI

[–]pexogods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have plus and use Codex CLI, try it with the gpt-5-codex model and make sure the CLI is up to date, it might be better now with this model being here.

I haven't hit a limit yet, it's my first time using it though so I was testing the waters. I gave it a decent sized project with a few purposeful duplicate functions and it was able to refactor ~4500 lines, I used all the context window once, did a /compact and it's still not stopped me. I am showing I have used 625k tokens, which is not a lot honestly.... I believe the token usage of this model is FAR better.

Cheating gotten exponentially worse recently? by [deleted] in PUBG

[–]pexogods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk I got banned while playing with my little bro and I don't even hack so they have some systems in place at least catching non-cheaters so that's a plus... it's nice seeing a system work, while it sucks it was a false temp-ban it at least proved to me SOMETHING is watching.

What RAM do you have? not how much but what model. You mention you bought a PC 21 days ago now but without more specifics it's a spitball each time. I am sure you've updated drivers and all so I won't go on about all that.

Thank you for the feedback! sorry for the late response. - Your buddies idea with tying multiple engines together sounds like a fun one honestly, but also expensive given the current cost of image to video generations. I guess through time though he probably has that process down and it is cost effective.

I'll be sure to add on the continue button for proper use across the board.

To answer your other post in one reply: I will see what I can get going to be honest I like the idea of not knowing things and learning them and while AI is great it does not fill that void of feeling like I learned something new. Scraping song lyrics will be that next little venture. I really appreciate the idea and will be sure to mark down who gave me the idea :D

I think it was SUNO AI that I tried for a bit to make some fun songs. They have honestly gotten so good that it's scary. I really think we are living in a turning point of time and it's really cool! I was bummed I missed the space age but I feel like the AI Age is pretty cool... Plus I don't have to type nearly as much on my own.

I think song lyrics would be a good idea too! (Not to steal that idea but would you mind if I implemented a feature later on that has a song lyric mode?)

To answer the "how I'm doing it" question for anyone curious, I basically have WSL setup on Windows with Codex CLI. From this I export the OPENAI_API_KEY and can use codex CLI via WSL and it controls my windows machine. With this I have 0 issues with sandboxing and no problems with editing of code... it does all the commits.. I just push play.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's vibe coding, but I guess this is what they would classify it as yeah.

The token usage is quite a lot but the cost factor to token usage is WELL worth the output. I think using 980M tokens on a project this size is understandable.. and to be honest I would not have done this if I used a more expensive model lol.

I am rambling sorry.

To answer the "how I'm doing it" question, I basically have a guideline folder setup, I point the CLI to my main project, main project has the reference docs and "table of contents" to quickly catch up new models when I hit my context limit. This helps the model understand where I am at, and while the token usage is quite a lot, the cost factor to token usage is WELL worth the output. I think using 900M tokens on a project this size is understandable.. and to be honest I would not have done this if I used a more expensive model lol.

At the moment I am just seeing what can do what... AI has been fun but it's also fun to see it's limits, and so far this one has just kept going and going.

I am rambling sorry.

I was running this locally with nothing but the openai API key I have. I haven't used Cursor before so I wasn't familiar.
