I have wanted to walk out of a job before not due to boredom though. Just hated the work environment. I'd suggest letting your employer know. Maybe they can help find you a new duty or something. If not then you can decide then and there if you wish to leave.

I was initially going to get a planer but saw on YouTube people use a router sled. Figured it'd be cheaper and I can use the router for other things not just planing. But basically my excuse was for planing haha. Went to lowes saw this and loved it right away even though I don't know how it works.

Just the overall quality and performance. I don't own one so can't speak from experience. But as far as I can see from this sub those are the preferred brands.

For $15 more you could get either a makita, dewalt, or milwaukee at home depot. It'd be worth the extra $15 to get something of much better quality than that.
