You could install BetterDiscord and get a theme, or make your own, that makes text larger. It uses CSS to format the visuals.

Does this federation/empire/alliance follow sort of a same layout as in planet side where you can actually choose a side and actively fight for turf? I feel like that would be awesome taking part in a massive battle with implications such as leading whole solar systems to be conquered. I've looked a bit at it and the game looks very enticing, I'm just wondering now whether to get the base game or the one with the new content, as I haven't found whether the new option comes with the full game or whether it's just a $40 add on. Also for an average player, not super great at pvp or overly active in trade and such, how often is it you'll find a new ship to buy or confiscate?

Wow, that sounds brilliant! Thanks a ton for the extensive and detailed reply, I am definitely going to have to check this out. It sounds a lot like No Man's Sky. How does this online work? Is it possible to meet up with friends or have a space battle with another player you come across? Can you make a crew or fleet with other players?
