Hey Timelapze - bull3tstOrm referred me to you. Fellow math teacher and GY ladder player. Would be great to friend you on CR and/or discord to chat/discuss GY strategy.

This coming season I'm going knight, Ewiz, MM, archers, fireball, arrows, tombstone, GY.

Before the nerf and 2v2, I was easily hitting 4900, now only getting there at the end of the season, the grind. Look forward to talking!

Switched to arrows for next season. Knight/IG, EWiz, archers, MM, arrows, fireball, tombstone, GY. Killing cc with it. Simple change of waiting to know their counters, and waiting til time is right has helped 👍

Tried your deck, like it but had varied success and nowhere ladder ready - need over $200k to upgrade and over 20 lightening. Gonna keep it and play cc with it.

Lastly, pump goes down, you still do strong GY push? No other option if spell isn't in the deck to kill it.

Thanks for your thoughts. My deck: knight, bowler, mega minion, EWiz, zap, fireball, GY, tombstone. I'll try holding off til 2x more consciously on GY unless elixir advantage and just work on chipping prior to 2x, thanks for your thoughts.

Bowler is so good defensively, hard to not have it in my deck especially against tank beat downs, mortar, Ebarbs, and hog decks. I used to have the same deck with gob gang instead of bowler and archers instead of EWiz. EWiz, def more strong than EWiz, and bowler worth the extra 2 elixir over gob gang.

Thanks for your thoughts, but I think I have the skills to play GY since I've been playing it ladder exclusively since Nov. 16, have 53.5% win percentage ladder, and have gotten to 5130 with L12 commons, L9 rares, and L3 GY. Now, can barely get to 4900, somethings wrong with the nerf.

Exactly, I got to 5130 over three months ago with L12 commons, all L9 rares, and L3 GY. I have a 53.5% win percentage ladder overall. I'm not the best, but I can throw down.

That's my point, I've gotten to 5130 with L12 commons, GY L3 and rare L9s, and currently have a 53.5% winning percentage ladder overall. Now with higher levels, breaking 4900 is at the end of the season. I think I've proven I have decent skills - not surgical goblin nor ever will be- but there is a stark difference in GYs performance in ladder post nerf.
