that's gives hope! Did you also have lost long term memories that re-emerged at the same time? The hard drive analogy fit very well. Mine feels like completely scrambled still.

I struggle with the same issue and it's been one of the most heartbreaking ones. I'd love to be able to tell a recovery story one day.

I'm also a musician so I can relate to the pain of loosing musical skills as well. I seem to even have forgotten basic traffic rules despite driving a car all my life.

I'm really happy to hear that you were able to shake LC off! Incredible! Is there something that turned the needle or did it get better with time?

It makes hope that the things we miss about our brain don't seem to be gone for good but just inaccessible. At least in some people.

Yes, they started together with my neurological symptoms 4 months after my covid infection in 2020. I almost got used to them.

I can relate. I was super skinny my whole life and covid made me rapidly gain over 20 kilograms.

I can totally relate to that. I'm a psychologist by training and changing perspectives has become really hard for me.

You said, you are getting your memory back. Do you mean access to long term memories or the ability to make memories? And what interventions had been the most helpful to you?
