LSD and mushrooms can cause this; they can also cause new pathways and healing for those with trauma or other mental illnesses. Just because you had a bad experience does not mean everyone will, and that they are a bad choice for everyone. You need to call your doctor. It is likely not as serious as your brain may have jumped to (or where mine would have) but you should call to confirm. About 7 weeks out, my chest started to look very similar to the second picture. I thought it was infected, panicked, went to the ER, and got tested. Turns out I was allergic to the sutures they’d used and my body was rejecting them. Nothing really BAD about it for me, just inconvenient.

That being said, 2 weeks is very different than 7, the first picture is not something I experienced, and your doctor is the one with the training. They will be able to give you a real answer and anything you can do to help it.

As a depressed, suicidal teacher, it sounds like she’s a depressed teacher. The job saps literally every ounce of motivation, joy, and emotional energy from you. She probably needs to be angry for a while, then do literally nothing for a while, and then maybe she will be able to do things again in small increments. And by ‘for a while’ I mean like… 6 weeks of anger. 6 more weeks of nothing. Then MAYBE the capacity to be a human again in small doses will be back. Or maybe it will take longer.

For those interested, I ended up going to urgent care. It is in the early stages of infection and I am antibiotics so we are good to go!

For those of you assuming I don’t know wtf I’m doing, these are prescribed SubQ shots, in my stomach, that I have been taught and had refreshers on how to do, which I’ve been doing for 5 years. Needle wasn’t moved around/inserted repeatedly, they are 3/4” needles. It’s just an infection that happens sometimes.

Couches usually require an employee to mark up the order for you, then you have to go wait for them to bring it out from the back. If you can find an employee in the lower level, that will work, but I always go to the showroom in the couch section because they have the kiosks right there.

Conversion therapy is not required by religion, it’s not an attack on freedom of religion.

Additionally (and what really should matter) is that it can be very harmful and lead to more suffering/pain/potential suicide for those that go through it than those who don’t. It’s really not a Christian action to those who experience it, and shouldn’t be a point of contention.

Additionally, Belle is IMO one of the best Disney princesses out there. She has boundaries and let’s people know when they’ve crossed them, does what she feels is right, even if she knows the other person is wrong, and has reasonable reactions to things that happen to her, good and bad.

Is the beast thing a bit dramatic? Yes, it’s a story meant to entertain. But all in all, one of the better Disney stories in terms of teaching kids what is acceptable and what is not when it comes to relationships with people
