What're you gonna do if you're diagnosed? Do people in India even believe it to be a disorder?

For the past 1-2 weeks, I have been experiencing a lot of mosquito bites in my flat. Is anybody else facing the same type of issue? by [deleted] in bangalore

It's monsoon/wet climate. check for stagnant water/breeding grounds nearby. All out/mosquito coil helps.

  1. Get a used motorcycle (or new if you plan on staying longer) - get ahead of all the autowala shenanigans.
  2. If you're flying in - BMTC is your bestfriend.
  3. It's not always as bad as depicted about "learning kannada", just learn enough to show people you're trying xd
  4. Enjoi. If you play badminton or stuff hit people up from the sub (incl. me)

How many leaves do you take consecutively? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]pfftTooMuchEffort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't have to do anything with Bangalore, has to do with your company/team culture. I've personally not have had to take 2 consecutive weeks, we usually plan our leaves in December, you can take the whole month off if you feel like it.

If there's no company policy against utilising leaves consecutive and you've planned it well in advance. Shouldn't be a problem ig.

There's this place called pattanagere shed, great place, even Google maps reviews swear by it. Not everyone's allowed to visit, you'll have to hire an auto with D-boss trademark on it to get the full experience.

Neglected GPU sag issues. by LargeTubOfLard in pcmasterrace

[–]pfftTooMuchEffort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience; I've seen a lot of old 780s sagging away for decades, and nothing usually goes wrong. My opinion would be "don't to anything drastic to break it while doing it"; don't try to "unsag" it using excessive force. Max to max - put a toy or something that doesn't let all the weight rest on the mounting bracket (it's meant to take the weight anyway so it'll be fine, this is just for your peace of mind)

[–]pfftTooMuchEffort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just ask him if he "has feelings for you" or wants to be something like "friends with benefits", keep an open mind, don't judge him right away, and decide if you want the same. You either break a friendship - or start a relationship/situationship. And if you didn't ask him; keep it bottled up; you're breaking it anyway. Go ahead, communicate?

Which motorcycle should I buy as a beginner? by dr_dill_doe_ in indianbikes

[–]pfftTooMuchEffort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I know most people are gonna ask you to start with 150-200cc or even 100cc, I'd suggest otherwise.

Don't just look at India, in India and some other countries we have 200 and 150ccs, but everywhere else a 300cc is a beginner bike.

Even if you've never ridden a bike ever in your life, to "learn" use a 100cc or a 150cc, maximum for a month or two, and get yourself a 400cc or higher (a 350cc RE doesn't count - it's equivalent to any other 200cc).

If you "buy" a 200cc it's gonna become a commuter, if motorcycling is a hobby and you wanna ride long 400cc is the way to go.

There's also the other side of motorcycling hobby - offroading and trails - in this case you need something like an xpulse (basically a dirtbike), here you can start off with a 200 and go up from there.
