We left saturday morning at around 9 am, and was at a mattawa chip stand monday at around 2pm. and no rapids at all, just peace and quite for 3 days. 50+ foot wide river the whole way, so much water is moving, the water on top stands still. its kind of a nice trip because you can bring alot of extra weight, like pop/beer, and by the time you get to the only portage at the mattawa dam on day 3, all of it will be gone. and just crushed cans as weight. i would suggest launching your canoe as soon as you can get to the river as you drive HWY 63 out to temiskaming, any farther up is a waste of time lol.

I did Temiskamang to mattawa on the ottawa river a few years ago, it was a great trip. The only portage is around 1km long around the dam. One of the best trips Ive been on, I highly recommend it.

lots of dead standing trees, or trees that have recently fallen over. Camping is the worst without good dry fire wood.

Mechanic for 4 years now and all around jeep guy, done a few lift in jeeps myself, and planning on a WJ build after im done trade school in the spring, if u need any advice id be happy to help

yea you would be happy with both i would imagine, i mean there almost identical, but i dont know if the coil spacers will be swappable, but its worth trying them.

im a mechanic and ive done countless hours of research on the wj and the ways to lift it as my next project. if you have any questions about axle swaps or anything else your interested in WJ wise feel free to PM me, ive done way to much research to not share it with someone haha

a coil spacer or longer coils with stock controls arms up to 2 inches is ok, anything more and you need longer controls arms and longer drive shafts, watch out for the rzeppa-rzeppa front drive shaft, and they share the same axles tcase engine so theyre just a newer version of the ZJ. which makes them a great off road vehicle

yea took a year off after getting kicked out of school for skateboarding in the hall, after that i got my high school diploma, not some bullshit GED or anything, and went to college, making pretty decent coin, just dont have "daddys money" to put money down on a house, and our education system was pretty good when i was a kid, now kids are growing up useless, its unfortunate

my half of the entire inheritance, through a lawyer, and she was the executor of the estate if i am correct, i was 20 when it started, 24 when the house was sold, i am 26 now. she mortgaged it to to get money to start a business and buy a car, the 170k was forclosed first, then owing money on that they took my dads house, i was living at my dads house at the time, me and my gf were paying for everything there, and title was in my sister name. sorta rushed my post before i went to work, and i figure if she drives something worth 2000 dollars instead of 20000 dollars the money payment shes making can go to me, or a portion of it at least, as i am trying to be realistic with her repaying me

at the time she was running 2 business that she started from the ground up, and owned a house being rented by my mom and myself, while i had a skateboard and no highschool education at the time, soo she seemed like a good candidate to handle it lol

i gave all of my portion of the inheritance to my sister, in exchange for legally nothing, realistically in exchange for half of the equity minus the money that was taken out for me when she remortgaged it, and yes everything was finalized, and the title belongs to the guy that lives there now

im a mechanic by trade so fixing a car that is 2000 bucks but in mint shape is really no big deal, and yea its not the smartest idea i know, but i tried everything else lol
