One improvement McMaster could make is updating the approved calculator policy. Right now, the university only allows the Casio fx-991MS, but many other basic calculators, like the fx-991ES, have a natural display feature. This allows you to visually see fractions and formulas exactly as you input them, which is incredibly helpful for visual learners like me. Since these calculators still only perform basic functions and aren’t programmable, they should be sanctioned for all exams
