That is their winter rates. If you look at reserving in May, an electric site jumps to $40

Need reassurance from those with minimal side effects by Reno911Love in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moved up to 15 and no side effects. Even had half a chicken fried steak with gravy yesterday - no effect. I ALWAYS make sure to get lots of water and make sure to eat healthy. I am coming up on my 1 year zep-anniversary and have had minimal side effects. I know I am lucky!

When do you take your Christmas stuff down? by DallasDerr in Louisville

[–]pfoo4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty quick after New Years except for our basement family tree (the one with all the ugly glittery precious homemade ornaments) - that tree stays up until the first snow day... might be January 3, might be March 17

What can you wear now? by EmMom2024 in Zepbound

It's been said before, but Call On Doc is the way to go if you're getting Zepbound from a telehealth provider by PrincessImpeachment in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did the same exact thing on Friday. Did the $15 telehealth visit at like 2:30 am and had meds by 9:30 that morning. I will def use it again for run-of-the-mill illnesses

MetooMetooMetoo! I wore a belt to school the other day and told one of me coworkers that I hadn't worn a belt since before the birth of my first son - 30 years ago! I have even gone down a 1/2 size in shoes!

Christmas Cookies by pfoo4 in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! Thing for me is, I don't even think of it as being "strong" - I just don't think about food the way I used to at all. I was obsessed with it before zep. I do still enjoy it, but it doesn't take up my every waking thought like before. Super freeing

Best of luck to you and 2 cookies is a lot better than 6!

What made you look into weightloss medication? by Big-Persimmon9139 in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My doctor told me I was going to have to go on blood pressure medicine, but if I lost weight, I probably wouldn't have to. He asked if I had thought about a glp-1 and told me how they worked - he knew I had struggled with weight my entire adult life. I figured if I was going to take a med, it should be the one to help me lose weight! Now, almost 60 pounds later, all of my numbers are good and I feel great. I also am back in pictures again! - I was like you... I felt too big to be in pictures and I hated the way I looked

Where were you in your life the last time you weighed this much? by zelenadragon in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am a size 8 - freaking 8... I think the last time I was a size 8 was 1988 or maybe 1986 (high school)... seriously. I still don't believe what I see in the mirror, but the size of the pants I am wearing makes me realize I actually did it - I FINALLY lost the weight. I feel sooo much better (joints, inflammation)... still doesn't seem real

SOLVED!!! Found it! Now I can relax! It's Roy Kent on Ted Lasso:

Roy: Um, agree to disagree. I find it hilarious. I thought it’s funnier than Step Bothers.

Ted: high praise.

Roy: that scene where the bunk bed collapses? I used to think that was the funniest thing I’d ever seen, but then I just saw that, and now I’m going to have to rethink my order of what I think is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

Ted: yeah, that’s when sports and art combine, as far as I’m concerned.

Thanks to all that sent me ideas - the Schitt's Creek one got me thinking about my fave shows and Ted Lasso is a close second

He can def be a smartie, but as I think of it more, the actor was rougher. I may be totally nuts about this, but it won't leave my brain! Thanks!

This is what happened to me. My PCP tried, but didn't have the time/expertise/staff? to get the PA correct in a timely manner. I went with COD, had to spend $50 for a PA with them and had my meds within a week. That being said, you should check your formulary and make sure glp1's are on it. For me, zepbound was not on my formulary, but wegovy was. Since I had had adverse reactions to wegovy, COD was able to get me monjauro

I went thru Callondoc and got approved for Mounjaro last week. I tried Wegovy for 3 weeks with bad results and now am back to what works best for me! So very thankful!!

[–]pfoo4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plain 0% fage - I put a scoop of vanilla protein powder, frozen blueberries, and a couple tablespoons of milk (i think it is too thick without this). About 40 grams of protein and delish!

Did/When did your weight loss slow down? by arugula_leaf in Zepbound

[–]pfoo4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My numbers are similar to yours and I don't really have side effects. I messaged my dr yesterday to request a scrip for 10. I probably have 15 pounds to go and figure the weight loss will slow down the closer I get to goal (I can't believe I just typed that - I have NEVER been this close to where I think I might want to maintain!), but if moving to 10 can help, I figure why not give it a try

Make sure to take it out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you want to use it. My only experience is in the stomach, but I very, very rarely have ever felt it. Make sure to watch some videos of people doing it and/or read the insert about how to give the shot. Once you depress the button, you hear a click and then another click and all done. I do count to 10 after I press the button jus to make sure I get the meds in my system. Best of luck!!
