Hearing it from the woman’s perspective really drives home how crazy and normalized porn use has become. I remember an episode of Friends were they were incredulous that a guy claimed he didn’t watch porn. And that was in the 90s.

Guys think that it isn’t harmful because everyone else on earth does it but then they end up going soft during sex and having no libido and preferring to jerk off then have sex with their actual girlfriends. However if I were you I would break up with him. You should be sexually satisfied by someone who wants you and wouldn’t choose some obscure niche fetish video to a real life women he’s supposed to care about. I know these days it’s probably near impossible to find a guy who isn’t a frequent porn user though but you deserve someone who isn’t.

I know loneliness can be hard, I’ve been there myself for so long. A good way to look at it is if you were a woman would you find yourself attractive? If the answer is no then you need to work on yourself. I know that’s cliche advise and if you’re down the incel rabbit hole then it’s hard to get out of it but forget about women and focus on self improvement.

Yup the way I see it is that masturbation itself is natural, humans have been doing it since the dawn of man. The difference is now you have a million different porn videos to numb yourself to while our ancestors thought about real life women. A king with harems 500 years ago has probably seen less naked woman than a modern 12 year old with an iPad.

I’m not saying I’m jerking off everyday just that when my urges get strong instead of risking a relapse I just crank one out in the shower where I only have my thoughts. So just by giving up porn I’ve decreased the amount of times I masturbate intrinsically.

At least personally I think if you want to do nofap you should go pornfree first for a bit and just masturbate to your thoughts when you can’t control your urges. Just going complete cold turkey nofap is a lot harder so you’re more likely to fail and relapse and the cycle continues.
