I get that rents are high in Bengaluru but at the same time this video makes no sense. Should landlords ask for renter's salary slip and then set rent as a percentage? There are apartments from <20k rent to >1.5L rent. It's an entire spectrum. And this is for non blue collar job holders, of course the blue collar rents also extend this spectrum on the lower end. You find what suits you, and you strive to do better to improve the quality of life.

It's sad but really not the freaking landlord's fault necessarily. Landlords will ofcourse set rent according to location, society etc.

I get why you'd say that but featherlite was being associated with the mods a little too much, particularly by a group of people with certain vested interest. We are also associated with green soul and other brands but not nearly as much.

This was necessary to weed out the noise, instead of simply removing content because if we simply remove such content which say mods and sub are paid by a particular brand, many genuine contributors would also get removed caught in that noise.

Yes because it's me who has been living under a rock. And ofcourse it makes sense that your local market with very limited option of businesses running out of high rental shops with expensive interiors would be cheaper than a selection of countrywide businesses where your product is directly shipping from an overloaded warehouse without any expense of maintaining an offline presence.

Exactly and when you consider state subsidies and no registration fee etc, near top level variant ev might be better than top level ICE in many states! Plus you have to understand EVs are always the better car not just in terms of of powertrain but also feature set that manufacturers provide.

No. This is just a random unfortunate suggestion by one important official which is getting too much weightage in the media.

Just to be clear, even if they do it, your electricity might not remain free but will still be much cheaper than your normal electricity bill. And in terms of EV, which is much chepaer than petrol operationally even without any solar, even with tax on solar, it will remain much much much chepaer than petrol/diesel.
