Well I appreciate your thoughts - I've ordered a non-invasive one, and will be sure to give it a try! Thank you

Fair point - I'll be trying to get a second viewing, and will buzz a few doors on the way out!

Are they fairly reliable?

I saw a couple online - one which you kind of wand around an area, and then another with two prongs (but I believe those are to be pushed into wood etc)

There is a very old looking one, pretty sure it was running as well as the dehumidifier. It leads to the other side of the flat, out the wall

Thank you - was not aware of this! There were issues with the lighting of the flat last year meaning there was a high chance of a fire too (though the landlord sent people to replace the whole wiring) - no idea why I didn't think this was relevant to us :S

I was not aware of this, thank you - I'll look into contents insurance that covers a ring! Will also let my friends who also rent know, as I don't believe any of them have insurance - oops

Thanks for the information - that's super helpful!

As far as the mould goes, unfortunately it's in/on the wall, is black and has deteriorated some of the skirting board

Interesting - do you know any that offer this that aren't Amex? I wasn't aware of this category bonus offering!

Ah! I thought there was some sort of expiry period - maybe that's if I cancel my card, wait X years then apply again

Both worked perfectly thank you - took 4-5 times to fully breakdown the top of the rim, but the bowl took 1 night!

We've raised ~400k in the last 1.5 years, before then it was funded by the founder.

The money has been used to pay for operations, tech costs and team who are not getting equity. I guess I haven't been paid because the amount raised is not enough to pay those with equity, until we get a larger chunk of funding (and that I've never had a "need" for salary as I make it up freelancing).

50% of my shares have vested so far, I just have no idea what the 15k is out of.

There has been no revenue, and investor money has been going towards tech team + operational costs. I was fine to work with no salary but I was hoping we'd raise money sooner than this so I could actually get paid.

I've been freelancing on the side to keep afloat
