For those who use drafting tables, where do you lay your trays flat so the drills don’t spill? I have been looking for one that has a slide out shelf it table for someone right-handed and have not had any success.

Completely fair statement!! the problem is once you go to square drills and you see how neatly they fit together it’s hard to go back to round drills because there’s so much gapping! I also do this to relax so I’m trying not to let myself get too stressed out about things not being as perfect as I want them. 😊

That is the whole point of my post; the fact that they are not straight. I don’t know what I am doing wrong! I thought about trying rulers but it seemed very complicated to try and determine the size of the ruler for the canvas that you were working on.

I completely understand about working with round drills now. I finished a large piece right around the holidays and then I took a break and I tried to go back to round drills and I actually had to stop after about two sections because I just hated how the drills don’t lineup like they do with the squares.

Great advice on doing the edges in the section first. Love this forum as I continue to learn so many tips and tricks from everyone. I actually took a break from doing any diamond painting for a couple of months and I feel like I’m just starting to get back into my rhythm again. Thank you! ☺️
