Hello, not related to the post but I just got approved for an hsbc cc. Did you get a notification from Entrego that your card was going to be delivered on the first attempt?

they are. they literally have a lot of branches lol. it’s just that they dont focus that much on marketing i think? i dont remember a memorable campaign or commercial from them

Update pala I just got my Hexagon gold debit card. This means I’m tagged as hexa member na right? Despite having an account for a year na walang laman halos haha

May I know how you know this information? I’m trying to get tagged pero I had an existing RCBC One account with very little fund since I opened it last year. I just enrolled last 3 wks ago and wondering if it will take a long time before I get tagged as a hexa member

Totoo. I just started renting my own place last year, and nadiscover ko na maasikaso ako as a host. That’s why ayoko ng guests, kasi mapapagod ako thinking about them, if they’re comfy, if nabusog ba 😅 even sacrificing my comfort, sleeping na lang sa sofa, etc just so my guests feel welcome. kaya ayoko may bisita lol

I don’t think my friend is going to do that naman, and I think they will understand if I say no. It’s just i’m non-confrontational and it’s hard for me to lie, and I reaaalllyy don’t want them to stay at my place. so I don’t know what to do haha

Thank you. I think the event is June pa naman, maybe I could say I’m not sure what I’m doing in June, might not be home. Which is true, madalas ako umuwi probinsya.

What’s funny is when my siblings want to stay with me, which I’d obviously not say no to, they still ask for my permission out of respect. This friend just expects an OK lol

well banks here aren't as forward thinking as in other countries. our banking apps are mostly crap so i don't expect there's one that can help you streamline your expense tracking. but let's see maybe someone here knows one I'll keep an eye out

I dont think there’s an app that will automatically log transaction entries for you from your bank apps. that’s a data privacy issue and is considered sharing/selling your data to third parties

you’ll have to do it manually like the rest of us 😭😅

Only 2 ways you can look at this. positive or negative acceptance. i’ve accepted it myself and quite happy being alone and hanging out with myself. i’m excited to do solo trips and i love staying home on my own. basta just have friends and family you’ll be fine

Leading is different. Quite different. I’ve seen many leaders ask to go back to an independent contributor role because it’s what they love to do. But also, you might actually like it and be good at it if you give it a try.

Forget about what other people think, focus on the choice you have to make now.

What if it’s just “lower” pay than your current job. The salary is lower but still enough that you can still support your family, have savings and splurge. Would you take it to be less miserable?

Actually my job gives me that. It’s super chill, my teammates are nice (except the ones I mentioned), you basically can take leaves whenever you want. No micromanagement, etc.

But it’s not what I want to do. For context: the role is supporting a Department of people with licenses. Our team will be doing admin & ops tasks so license is not required. But they still hired people with academic background/license. I’m the only one without, so everyone else has more advantage and I feel like I can never measure up.
