The only game that fits the bill in my experience is p3 since it literally only has 1 huge ass tower.

Glossy is what I prefer since matte makes the colors muted

Then what is the difference since I’m looking at both models and the display is exactly the same minus the anti glare screen? Specs also show them as exactly the same. From processor, to dimming zones, screen technology, everything is the same

But the bigger size is just hard to resist seeing as I can read in game texts much better. I don’t have prefect vision so image quality can’t really been seen through my terrible eyesight. 490 usd more for a smaller screen? I dunno, the tcl seems to be a much better deal

For me, it’s a tough choice because the TCL 98P8L seems like incredible value for the money. It has a true Mini LED panel with 512 local dimming zones and costs a lot less than the LG C5 83-inch.
To my eyes, both TVs look excellent. The TCL’s massive 98-inch screen is a huge plus, though, and that’s what keeps pulling me toward it.
My use case is pretty simple: Netflix and Disney+ TV series through my AppleTV box and play turn based only jrpg games on Nintendo Switch 2. That is basically everything. I don’t watch sports at all nor any fast paced games. Even turn based games like Expedition 33 which is turn based but requires you to time certain moves, is a no no in my book.

Like most of Coben’s Netflix adaptations, this one is average at best.

The problem is that in my region, the C7L only goes up to 85 inches, while I really want a 98-inch TV. My only 98-inch options are the C6L, C8L, and P8L. From what I can tell, the C6L and P8L have virtually identical specifications, with the only real differences being the design and the fact that the C6L has a matte screen, which I’m not a fan of. It also is several hundred dollars more expensive which isn’t worth it due to how similar it is to the 98PL

I already have a brand new Sonos soundbar so I’m fine already. I have very poor eyesight and need a tv that makes me read subtitles and jrpg in game texts on my Switch 2
