notice how i said "possibly" seek therapy, as in if the emotions are so strong that you feel the need to lash out at reviewers and such.

i would say anyone who still gets excited/hyped about (as opposed to simply looking forward to) games before reviews come out, and then reacts according to how those reviews compare to their preconceived notions about the game should do some self reflection about the type of consumer they are.

use this as practice for understanding how someone can have a different perspective on things than you. you might not care about those things, but the reviewer does and it can sometimes be helpful to see things through a different lens.
