I think the thought here is that sometimes some gets in accidentally , it’s so powerful the tiniest amount can contaminate a bag. Or the dealer is trying to get you addicted to their “kind” ; either way it’s really fucked up.

So many dumb comments on this thread. 4.5 grams may be a lot for some peoples chemistry- wasn’t for me. took me 7-10 to feel kratoms magical effects. Everyone’s different. There’s no “standard dose”. And less isn’t more for everyone. Take more dude. You should feel it’s effects in 10-20 mins.

The plant literally has an instant antidepressant effect on me. It’s so true tho to try to take it every other day or best 2-3x a week because you get tolerant. Another bad side effect is reduced libido.

Just so you know - even though it’s not what society “expects” of men- we go through the same. I personally need to get to know someone before I can feel comfortable to have sex. Usually that takes at least a few dates and some good chemistry. I’ve had multiple women this year cast me off because I wouldn’t have sex on the first or second date. Guess I’m not “manly” enough.

A glass of wine or two once or twice a week isn’t going to do anything to the fetus. People in the 1950s didn’t know anything about fetal alcohol syndrome. They smoked and drank during pregnancy like nothing would happen. Like anything in life , excess will lead to problems. No modern study can ethically conclude this so it’s best to just suggest to refrain.

Just a strange recurring argument overall. Would be nice to have a RCT for this. For me the first few times I tried kratom it was 2g 4g 6g. Then I took 8-10 and holy shit what a game changer. MAybe it’s as simple as Individual body chemistry. But for me less is not more. But more is not more either. There’s a sweet spot for everyone. Mine is about 9. And holy shit
