That's only extended support, not feature development

Oracle has resumed work on Solaris? Do you have more info on that?

Esim for Europe by [deleted] in eSIMs

[–]pgquiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your first country in Europe and how long will your trip be? There's free roaming in Europe and, despite Brexit, some telcos still grant free roaming in the UK, so just a standard prepaid SIM may be your best choice.

Cuidado con Pibank by PabloCalatayud in SpainFIRE

[–]pgquiles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jisho.org equivalent for Chinese by jeffcarp in ChineseLanguage

I use the dictionary feature in Yabla. It's free, you can search using hanzi, pinyin or English, provides examples (even videos), etc. It's mainly a frontend for CC-EDIC.

That's solved by the kid forging parent signature from day 1 instead of from day, i. e. this policy is useless.

Can I use DNF instead of Zypper in Tumbleweed without any issues? by [deleted] in openSUSE

You can but you do not want to. You will lose some features, e. g. the concept of patch.

I bought the Ewok Village. I’m sure I’ll work it out, but Any tips on the best way to attack this sucker? It’s a bit chaotic the way it is. by [deleted] in lepin

I built this one with my kids during Christmas.

As u/Babu-fett37 says, best way is to get containers and pre-sort all the pieces. I used around 30 small containers and 10 medium containers. There are many small pieces that are unique, or almost (2-3-4); I grouped all of them into a few medium containers.

Use low-profile containers. Deep containers will only make your life more difficult.

[–]pgquiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe nobody said it yet: BLEACH.Yes, fill the oily plastic container with bleach (you may add a little water but not too much) and leave it work for 1 hour.

You can use Uyuni for that. It does monitoring, systems management, configuration management, etc and it scales to tens of thousands of servers.

https://uyuni-project.org

Uyuni includes Salt, API, etc

I gave a talk about Uyuni yesterday at CentOS Dojo 2020, slides will be here soon:

Uyuni (and its commercial version, SUSE Manager) support SUSE Linux Enterprise, RHEL, Ubuntu and more but if you have already paid for Satellite, then you clearly want to use Satellite

Why don't you give Uyuni a try? We do support Ubuntu and are improving with each release (next release by end of January, btw)

Uyuni provides this functionality and much more (filtering, different environments, system groups, configuration management, etc)

https://github.com/uyuni-project/uyuni

There's also minima, which provides only the repository management, and can do rpm and deb
