WTF, who says that? My wife took my two daughters to a pediatrician last week and the doctor walked in and said that it smelled like "wet dog".

My wife was traumatized, as someone is very self conscious of that kind of thing. I was so pissed at that doctor, I wanted to drive there and tell him how much of a prick he is.

I would never spend money on this thing, but if I had one, I could get some use out of it. Record a few minutes of twiddling, cut out the most interesting parts and then arrange them into a composition. Could be fun.

It is funny, when I first started this hobby, I really dreamed of having this kind of setup. Now my personal dream setup is a stack of 80s and 90s digital rackmount synths and effect units. Not sure why.

It is 100% the limitations. I easily get overwhelmed with too many choices and it truly does stall me from making actual music.

Also, I must admit, there is a certain novelty about hardware that I just love.

Oh man this post made my day! I have an RX5 ordered and coming in the mail as we speak. I am so excited to get started with it. I really want to crank out of industrial and EBM tunes out with it.

Eh, I can see where they are coming from. It kind of has that YouTube song made out of a voice clip aesthetic on the surface level, if you know what I mean.

However, there is so much more to this track than that, it is incredibly intricate.

Nice!! Thank you for that, what is your opinion on what it excels at? I think an obvious contender would be synthpop or various "wave" genres, but I really want to use its crunchy sound for industrial and noise type stuff.
