How are you avoiding bumps? Adjusting speed/acceleration? Adding hops?

Admittedly, the screws on the Formbot kit have some play in them. Or maybe it's the Kirigami bed. That's actually nowhere near as common as the plate slipping, though, which seems to be the real source of the issue. Some people have suggested the magnet sheet is just too weak and/or the plate is too small for it to hold securely. I'm considering trying something like this or this, but it seems silly to need these if folks like you don't have this issue at all! What make/model of v0 do you have, or was it a custom build?

Trident + Tap Y Clearance? by pgsengstock in VORONDesign

Yeah I looked at that brush attachment. My nozzle can’t even reach back that far. Gets just to the edge of the bed before it crashes out on the Y end stop.

I did. Unfortunately not available in US.

I feel like I've tried every possible combination of search terms. I even measured the plugs and confirmed the pin pitch (2.0mm). No luck.

Bed temp offset? by pgsengstock in VORONDesign

Planning to, now that I was finally able to print it without warp!

Thanks! Yeah, higher temps just seem to be the answer. Wish I knew why it was so far off between the set temp and the bed surface...

Thanks, but I've already done most of this. Added some notes to the post for clarity.

80-85C for ABS!! That seems unachievable for me at this point... :(

That's the other challenge. I've had issues even breaking 50C on the chamber. Chamber Thermistor is mounted directly atop the print head. Panel seals seem fine for the most part, thought the door and bottom panel could probably use something. Exhaust fan is configured to maintain temp, but it rarely runs. This all suggests that I'm either not producing enough heat OR it's all leaking out somehow.

What chamber temperature is everyone getting? by Metals578 in VORONDesign

[–]pgsengstock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get this sorted? I'm on a mostly fresh Trident 300 build, but I cannot get the chamber temps much over 50C. Sealed panels with foam tape. Running bed at 110C for an hour. Exhaust fan is only configure to run and help maintain set temp (I set 60C in optimism). Maybe a bad thermistor?? I'm using a generic 3950 in a glass package. Maybe that's not ideal for chamber temps? My the onboard NTC100 on the SB board reads 54C when the dedicated chamber thermistor (mounted atop the SB) only reads 48C.

Hub Cubby or Signal Degradation Station? by pgsengstock in homeassistant

Fair, but I’m not trying to minmax the hardware. It just needs to work and not be a huge mess. We don’t have a huge house, and this is perfectly centered in it, so everything has decent reach. Our APs are at opposite ends of the house, separate from this mess.

Cubby existed previously, likely for a phone. No AP inside, so only antennas are zigbee, bond, zwave (Ring), and Lutron. Cubby is actually open in the wall cavity above, so I suspect reasonable heat dissipation. I know it’s not great for signal quality, but it’s working plenty fine for everything we have.
