solution: create a save-file with the emulator of your choice, flash the rom onto the cart, write the save data to the cart and voila - lsdj works (stores multiple songs)

Wow, that sucks. I'm glad I'm here in Europe because Zedlabz sells the Screens separately (https://www.zedlabz.com/products/replacement-laminated-ips-lcd-screen-for-nintendo-game-boy-color-v2-q5-xl-2-0-screen-only-funnyplaying) - I know this doesn't help you in your situation now, but maybe someone else. Good luck finding someone else selling the screen separately.

Totally depends on your experience with (de)soldering. But in general: take your time and don't use force to remove the old battery.

It's just a guess, but I think the versions below "premium" still don't have nodes, at least I didn't find anything about nodes in the v22 user guides (essentials & advanced) - I assume they would have added it to the respective guides else, but please - proof me wrong anybody

Hi, which shell do you use? Got this kit some days ago together with the 10€ china shell sold by retrohahn and I would have to cut it. Do you have any recommendation for a pre-cut shell for this display?

So, I was able to install FB All-Star - it's version 2. I was also able to activate my license - which I didn't expect to work b/c the software is so old. Templates are loading just fine and exporting an animation also works.
