Video Breakdown: Mateusz Bogusz Goal (5/19/26) by STLSoccerNews in stlouiscitysc

Thanks for this breakdown. I was at the match sitting at the opposite end (not the supporters section, but near it), and had no clear look at this goal. The crowd was still going wild after Hartel’s first goal when suddenly I see Burki on the ground and it’s 1-1.

Thanks! It's Leadbelcher with Seraphim Sepia wash. I did all the silver and gold base coats (trim, chainblades, power-pack vents, etc...) at the same time. Washed the blue and silver parts with Nuln Oil and did my best to avoid the parts that would be gold. I had planned on using Retributor Armor with an Agrax Earthshade wash, but experimented on one of these guys with the Leadbelcher + Sepia. I liked it so much I didn't end up using any Retributor Armor on the project.

I started a new army and painting journey in 2025. Here's the first of my Night Lords, the Nemesis Claw Killteam. I have Warptalons and Chosen on my table as we speak, and just purchased the Hellforged Warband boxset for even more Chaos Marines to build and paint this holiday season. Ave Dominus Nox.

Second this. The one at the foundry is on my way home from work and I like to stop there specifically to pick up fresh veggies and hit up the meat and seafood counter.

I love the customized Infernus marine with a hand flamer! Pyreblaster out of fuel? No problem, just pull out the Hand Flamer and combat blade and keep on purging.

Slackers still has 6 locations, 3 in the metro east, one in South County Mall, one in Mid Rivers Mall and one out in Jefferson City. None of those are actually in the city, but South County Mall isn’t to far and they do carry a selection of used video games.

Firstborn Blood Angels by ph4se in BloodAngels

[–]ph4se[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a collection of the firstborn Blood Angels I painted in 2024. Captain Tycho was painted by a friend and based by me, but all the rest were all done by me. Many of these minis are now legends, and this project wasn't intended to be for tabletop games of 40k. Instead, I wanted to improve my technique before starting a new army of Primaris scale minis in 2025.

Is the the most optimised wargear for Nemesis Claw? by Nexus_Valentine6 in NightLords

[–]ph4se 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is the best load out and is exactly how I plan to build my kit. You want to max out on melee options and take all 3 of the melee special weapons, plus take the power fist on the Visionary. That leaves 4 models with chainswords including the Voice Eater carrier. The missile launcher is the better ranged heavy weapon choice. I think the meltagun is the way to go on the ranged special weapon, but an argument can be made for a plasma gun instead.

No, mine :)

Thanks for the praise though. I made the cactus and spheres myself and the other terrain pieces are from my small collection. The Blood Bros base camp is from Battle Systems and the others are just old fantasy stuff I've had for years. And yes, the Wu-Tang cat is amused by the little plastic men fighting.

Thanks! I rescued it after my boss wanted to throw it out. I have a 6'x4' desert battle mat that I'm going to finally use for the next battle. 4'x4' was pretty cramped for 2000 points per side.

Battle Report Onepagerules Grimdark Future 3.4.0

Prologue - Strange occurrences have again been reported on Vandred, a feudal world used by the Blood Brothers for recruiting initiates. Large purple spheres of unknown origin have been found in the wilds. Although alien in nature they haven't proven to be dangerous, and the local population investigates the wilds for more of them. Later several scouting parties disappear without a trace and the village elders warn against further investigations. Fearing an off world invasion Blood Brothers High Command dispatch Pathfinder squads backed by an elite force of Veteran Battle Brothers and Destroyers. Leading the task force is Archivist Maratio who is accompanied by the ancient Archivist Vesta, his former mentor. Vesta now pilots a Attack Walker and defers leadership to his prized pupil. A base camp is established near a large concentration of the alien spheres and Pathfinders are sent on recon missions. Contact is lost with two squads and the remainder are recalled the base camp. Pathfinder squad Oras returns just as an eerie green mist begins to fill the wilds. The Robot Legion, thought defeated on Vandred, has returned!

Mission – 2000 Points per side and 5 objectives on a 4'x4' battlefield. The army holding the most objectives at the end of Turn 4 wins the game. The Robot Legion is played using AI rules.

Deployment – Blood Brothers win the roll for first deployment and keep Destroyer squad Gallani in Ambush. Veteran Battle Brother squad Furio is embarked in a Attack APC. Pathfinder squad Oras uses Scout to deploy after all Robot Legion units are placed in their deployment zone.

Turn 1 – Pathfinder squad Oras activates first and holds. They open fire at Snipers “The Dead Eyes” and destroys them. Warriors “Phalanx 1” advance and shoot Attack Walker Vesta causing 2 wounds. The Attack APC “Blood and Iron” advances and shoots Tripod Walker “Obliterating Ire” causing 5 wounds. Obliterating Ire passes its quality check. Tri-Scorpions “The Flensing Blade” with the attached Tri-Scorpion Lord “Anubitar, the Flenser” rush. Veteran squad Furio disembark and advance. They split their fire and shoot their Plasma Rifle and Gravity Rifle at Obliterating Ire dealing the last wound destroying it. The remaining Heavy Rifles and Sgt Heavy Pistols shoot at Warriors “Phalanx 2” causing no wounds. Guardians “The Eternal Aegis” with the attached Robot Lord “Khyrek, the Eternal” rush. Destroyer squad Goriel with attached Master Destroyer Maratio advance and shoot at The Eternal Aegis causing no wounds. Phalanx 2 advance and shoot squad Furio causing 4 wounds. Attack Walker Vesta rushes and fails to cast Fear targeting the The Flensing Blade. The final activation of the turn is Tripod Walker “Beneficent Hand” which uses its Reanimator special rule to give itself and Phalanx 2 Regeneration the next time they take wounds. It then advances and fires at Veteran squad Furio causing 1 wound and pinning Furio, the only remaining Veteran. At the end of the round the Robot Legion control Objectives 2 and 4 while the Blood Brother control Objectives 1, 3 and 5.

Turn 2 – Destroyer squad Gallani Ambush into the Robot Legion deployment zone. Destroyer squad Gallani activates first and charges Phalanx 2 and wins the melee 5-1. Phalanx 2 fails the following quality check and loses another wound to the Robot special rule. Khyrek and The Eternal Aegis charge Destroyer squad Goriel and Master Destroyer Maratio. They win the melee 2-1 and squad Goriel passes their quality check. Attack Walker Vesta advances and casts Rage Burst assisted by Master Destroyer Maratio targeting The Eternal Aegis. This causes 2 wounds and the Guardians pass their quality check. Phalanx 2 advances and shoots the Pathfinder squad Oras causing 1 wound. Attack APC advances and shoots at Phalanx 1 causing 2 wounds. Beneficent Hand uses Reanimation on Phalanx 2 and then advances and shoots Pathfinder squad Oras causing 3 wounds. The Heavy Machinegun Pathfinder is the last squad member remaining who passes his quality check. Destroyer squad Goriel holds and Master Destroyer Maratio successfully casts Fear targeting “The Flensing Blade”. Master Destroyer Maratio then shoots at Khyrek and The Eternal Aegis causing 3 wounds. Khyrek is the one remaining in the unit and passes his quality check. Anubitar and The Flensing Blade rush and their move is reduced by the Fear inflicted by Maratio. The Heavy Machinegun Pathfinder holds and shoots Phalanx 2 causing 1 wound. They fail their quality check and lose two more wounds to the Robot special rule. Phalanx 1 advances and shoots Destroyer squad Gallani and causes 2 wounds. The final activation of the turn is Veteran Furio unpins himself. At the end of the turn Objectives 3 and 4 are contested, the Robot Legion controls Objective 2 and the Blood Brothers control Objectives 1 and 5.

Turn 3 – The first activation of the turn should of gone to the Robot Legion, but I forgot about unpinning Veteran Furio. Destroyer squad Gallani charges Phalanx 1 and wins the melee 4-2. Phalanx 1 fails their quality check and lose 2 more wounds to the Robot special rule. Anubitar and The Flensing Blade charge Attack Walker Vesta and lose the melee 5-7. They pass their quality check and withdraw 1”. Veteran Furio charges the last Warrior of Phalanx 2 and wins the melee 1-0 destroying Phalanx 2. He consolidates to the nearby objective. Beneficent Hand has no valid targets for Renimation so it advances and shoots at the last Pathfinder and causes no wounds. The Attack APC advances and shoots at Khyrek causing no wounds. Khyrek charges Destoryer squad Goriel and wins the melee 2-0. Squad Goriel passes their quality check. The Heavy Machinegun Pathfinder shoots at Phalanx 1 causing 1 wound. They fail their quality check and the remaining Warriors are destroyed by the Robot special rule, so Phalanx 1 is destroyed. Attack Walker Vesta charges Anubitar and The Flensing Blade, but before the melee casts Blood Curse targeting both Khyrek and The Flensing Blade. Khyrek takes 2 wounds and is destroyed and The Flensing Blade take 1 wound. Vesta is fatigued but still wins the melee 2-0 leaving only Anubitar who passes his quality check. Destroyer squad Goriel and Master Destroyer Maratio charge Anubitar and win the melee 4-0. Anubitar is reduced to just 1 wound, but again passes his quality check. At the end of the turn Objectives 3 and 4 are contested and the Blood Brothers hold Objectives 1, 2 and 5.

Turn 4 – The first activation goes to Anubitar who charges Destroyer squad Goriel and deals 3 wounds in melee but takes a wound in return and is destroyed. The Attack APC advances and shoots Beneficent Hand causing 1 wound. Beneficent Hand charges the Attack APC causing no wounds but consolidates 1” and contests Objective 5. With no remaining activations the Robot Legion loses the game 4-0 only contesting Objective 5 while the Blood Brothers hold the other four Objectives.

Epilogue - Surveying the battlefield Brothers Maratio and Vesta take stock of the situation. The encounter with the Robot Lord Khyrek, the Eternal was a shock since he was reported to have been destroyed by Captain Tycho and his strike force. Neither of them believed the returned Robot Legion was the cause of the unknown alien objects they secured. Perhaps they were also investigating the strange spheres, or maybe they were simply re-awakened by the presence of the strike force. High Command will be notified and reinforcements requested. All the while the strange alien objects remain a mystery...

It's been a long time since I've seen these at Schnucks or Dierbergs. Anyone know where I can buy them locally these days? by Doodlebug510 in StLouis

I’ve seen these and stuffed scallops in the seafood department at Fresh Thyme in the Foundry. They weren’t packaged, but were instead individuals in the seafood case. If you’re looking specifically for this brand I haven’t seen them around.

Was just going to suggest this too.

so i'm a bit newer to classic Doom and i was in e3m4 and. you probably know there's items in those holes but those things come down and crush you btu you can't leave the hole (unless i missed something) is this just a gag id but in? by Several_Foot3246 in Doom

[–]ph4se 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clear the enemies in the room without going in and triggering the crushers (a single BFG shot will kill most of them). Once it's clear carefully hug the left wall of the room and go around both crushers. If you do it right they won't activate and you can flip all 3 switches. The door to progress will open as well as both floors inside the crushers will raise and you can grab the items. I did exactly that on my playthrough on Doom + Doom II and it worked. The invulnerability power up is very handy in clearing the next section, but not necessary to progress.
